Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a store associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience and support daily operations. You will engage with customers, facilitate purchases and returns, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

You should be able to multi-task, adapt to changing directions, and work a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Prior retail experience and strong communication skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Possesses excellent customer service skills.

• Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
