Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences in the community. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while supporting daily store operations.

Responsibilities include managing freight flow, stock needs, and maintaining sales-floor effectiveness, with emphasis on customer service and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Keep the store clean and presentable.
