Job summary

HomeGoods in Lees Summit, MO is hiring a Retail Associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, greet customers, and maintain a clean, organized store. You will work as part of a collaborative team, handling truck deliveries, stocking, tagging, and backroom organization to ensure a smooth flow of goods to the floor.

The position requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to train others.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes stocking.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising principles.
• Ensures merchandise is tagged, hung, and coded; maintains backroom organization.
• Maintains merchandising standards and clean, safe store environment.
