Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Holmdel Township, NJ is hiring a store associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards and deliver an excellent customer experience.

You will help train Associates, manage backroom processes, tag and stock merchandise, and maintain safety and store standards while supporting team goals. Eligible candidates have at least 1 year retail experience with leadership exposure; a flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to train others
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Engage with customers to ensure an excellent shopping experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Tag, hang, secure, and code merchandise and ensure proper backroom organization.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure smooth flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Support store priorities and safety by adhering to policies and procedures.
