Job summary

Hockey Western New York, LLC is seeking an Merchandise Operations Manager to oversee all events and day-to-day operations at the KeyBank Center, with emphasis on guest experience and staff leadership. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Merchandise and requires coordinating with multiple internal departments and external events.

The position demands scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to policies, while managing merch, POS systems, and event setups across NHL/NLL games,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, marketing, or retail management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience overseeing a team of 10+ employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving problems.
• Oversee team store maintenance, stocking, organization and flow.
• Develop and implement Visual Merchandising strategies and POS oversight.
• Address guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare daily/weekly schedules aligned with forecasts and events.
• Organize inventory counts and maintain controls and integrity.
