Job summary

Pacsun is seeking an Entry-level Merchant Coordinator in Anaheim to support the merchandising team and assist with tasks across the buying process. You will handle data management, supplier communications, and coordination between departments to ensure smooth product flow.

The role provides foundational exposure to retail merchandising and buying operations, with responsibilities spanning admin duties, data entry, and cross-team liaison to support inventory and product launches.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ experience preferred in retail or merchandising.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, prepare reports, and organize meetings for the buying team.
• Coordinate team activities and handle product samples.
• Input product data into inventory systems with accurate descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
• Facilitate data flow between the buying team and other departments.
• Communicate with suppliers: confirm orders, schedule shipments, track deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory audits.
• Keep product data up to date in internal systems.
• Conduct basic market research and provide initial insights on trends.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance for smooth operations.
