Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment.
7. Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
8. Providing direct supervision for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
10. Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
11. Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
12. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
13. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and merchandising merchandise.
14. Planning and implementing sales strategies and store layouts.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
