Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment with customers and staff
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor recovery
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards
• Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales-effective displays and planograms

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
