Responsibilities:

1. Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Support all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
6. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery.
9. When the Store Manager is not present, have direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
10. Process all corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
13. Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining organization of merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
14. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.
15. Support in planning and implementing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
