Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including store cash.
6. Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. Assuming direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
10. Processing all corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
13. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
14. Planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels with sales-effective items.
15. Planning and implementing monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prefer prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
