Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas are maintained to company standards, including recovery efforts.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, following policies.
• Managing freight flow and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with stock and sales floor management.
• Planning and merchandising sales-effective items and monthly sales plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-energy team environment.
