Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Assist with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight flow management.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan and maintain merchandising displays, including Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Participate in planning and executing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
