Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
• Performing all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Helping to protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery.
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Supporting inventory management, merchandising, and sales floor effectiveness.
• Contributing to planning and implementing sales strategies and merchandising displays.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
