Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives, including pull and hold/destroy, task compliance, and survey information.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Help manage freight flow and ensure sales floor effectiveness daily.
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and plan merchandising strategies.
• Participate in planning and implementing sales initiatives and merchandising plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Preferably prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, team environment.
