Celebration Carousel in Muskegon is looking for an Assistant Manager responsible for managing the daily operations of Elsa’s. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing food and beverage service, ensuring product quality, managing safety and security, controlling inventory and purchases, and maintaining guest and employee satisfaction. The position requires a 30-hour/week work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage and maintain a high-quality experience for guests, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.
2. Monitor, order, and control inventory; audit deliveries for accuracy.
3. Display a guest-centric attitude by training and holding team members accountable for delivering Celebrated Service.
4. Plan, communicate, and assign responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
5. Lead training, evaluation, motivation, and coaching of employees, including hiring future staff.

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience as a barista is preferred.
• Serv Safe Food and Allergen Certification preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends; shifts vary weekly from regular hours to late nights.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
