Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates
• Supporting store functions and daily activities
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards
• Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing store directives and communications
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Assisting in freight flow management
• Meeting productivity standards
• Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintaining stockroom organization
• Ensuring sales floor effectiveness daily
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
