Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery efforts
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and stock organization
• Supporting sales floor effectiveness, merchandising, and planning monthly sales initiatives

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
