Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Supporting all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Helping to protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
6. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
7. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery and organization.
8. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
9. Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
10. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, and managing freight flow.
11. Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
12. Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and stockroom organization.
13. Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily and planning/merchandising sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
