Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including cash, and adhering to safety policies.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers and staff.
7. Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards.
8. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
10. Managing merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow.
11. Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
12. Planning and maintaining sales-effective displays and monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
