Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Helping to protect and secure store assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
8. Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards, including recovery.
9. Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
11. Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management.
12. Meeting productivity standards and assisting with stock ordering and organization.
13. Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily and planning merchandising strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
