Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including store cash.
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all areas of the store meet company standards, including recovery and organization.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with receipt, return of merchandise, and freight management.
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
• Planning and merchandising with sales-effective items and monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
