Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Sewing Inspector in Claremont, NC. You will ensure sewing operations meet quality standards across upholstery components, verify stitching, borders, and cushions, and stage finished covers for the Make Ready area.

The role supports fast-paced production in our upholstery network. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years in Quality Control within upholstered furniture manufacturing, plus basic computer skills to track kit

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Control in upholstered furniture manufacturing.
• Computer experience to track kit location and tickets.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand tickets.

Responsibilities

• Assure that cutters have separated sewing work correctly for each sewing operation.
• Inspect covers after zipper and border are sewn to assure the sewing is correct.
• Assure that border has been pulled correctly.
• Turn cushion and inspect it before putting sewing pack together.
• Inspect product using established standards, as outlined in job description.
• Stage all sewn covers for the Make Ready area in Upholstery.
• Scan bundle for kit update and location of kit in manufacturing process.

Sewing Inspector position is located in Claremont, NC.
