Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Claremont, NC, is seeking a Serger Sewing Operator to join our upholstery production team.

You will read production tickets and operate serger machines to sew inside border stitching on premium fabrics, ensuring alignment with cover patterns and quality standards. This role requires 3-5 years of fabric sewing experience for upper-end upholstered furniture, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture.
• Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
• Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand production tickets and interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
• Operate serger sewing machine to sew inside border stitching on upholstery fabric while maintaining quality standards and production specifications.
• Make sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

The Serger Sewing Operator position is located in Claremont, NC.
