Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Shop Foreman Supervisor in Florida to lead a team of automotive technicians, plan and control service work, and ensure quality repairs at fair costs. The role interacts daily with service managers, advisors, technicians, and customers to maintain production standards and timely communication.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, strong mechanical skills, and excellent communication abilities. ASE is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of automotive technicians.
• Provide diagnostic/test-drive support on the service lane as needed by service staff.
• Review diagnostic results before major repairs begin.
• Communicate updates to customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping policies across the shop.
• Schedule service vehicles and equipment per workflow.

The service shop foreman supervisor is responsible for ensuring the proper repair and servicing of all the vehicles taken in by the service department. The service shop foreman plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
