Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Shop Foreman to supervise the repair and servicing of vehicles in the service department. You will plan, organize, and lead the workflow to ensure quality repairs at fair costs while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, good communication, and the ability to guide technicians through diagnostics and repairs. A high school diploma and automotive experience are required; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in automotive repair facility.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job assistance to technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Review diagnostic results before major repairs.
• Assist on the service lane with diagnostics and test drives.
• Meet with Shop Leaders to report production and administrative matters.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards and are completed properly.
• Follow safety policies and dispose of hazardous waste per regulations.
