Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Beverly Hills is seeking an experienced Superintendent Mechanical-Electrical to lead, direct and coordinate the work of subcontractors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and low voltage systems on the project.

You will ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work and adherence to budget, supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns, and collaborate with owners and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field and substantial engineering or architectural experience.
• Minimum six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience, plus four years of related education or training.
• Strong reading of contract documents, drawings and specifications; adept at BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor for mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality and budget compliance on the project.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and interns; conduct performance input as needed.
• Develop schedules, sequencing of work, and recovery strategies to maintain project timeline.
• Coordinate with owners, architects/engineers on field issues; resolve design clarifications.
• Manage billing processes related to work in place and subcontractor payments; ensure conformance with contract documents.
