Job summary

Jobot seeks a Superintendent - MEP to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of large-scale construction projects. You will ensure on-schedule delivery, stay within budget, and uphold safety and quality standards across all MEP activities.

The role requires strong leadership, deep MEP knowledge, and hands-on collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Houston-based work with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction, focusing on MEP systems.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience managing MEP systems on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MEP aspects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors on-site.
• Review and implement MEP designs and plans.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve MEP issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Manage procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.
