Job summary

Manhattan Construction Company seeks an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead field operations on mechanical and electrical scopes, ensuring timely, profitable project completion. You will supervise on-site labor, coordinate with the Project Manager, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 8+ years of trade-contractor experience in superintendent roles, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of trade-contractor experience in a superintendent role (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force.
• Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with Project Manager.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external clients (Owner/Architect/Engineer).
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan with Project Manager.
• Manage quality program and site testing/inspections.
• Monitor costs, including labor time and material.
• Ensure injury-free environment and mentor others.
• Manage schedules to meet or beat deadlines.
