Job summary

Pepper Construction is seeking an MEP Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance across multiple projects in the Ohio region. You will guide project teams, owner-facing QA activities, and trade partner coordination to ensure building systems meet design intent and operate reliably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Construction Management, MEP Design, or related fields.
• Experience with construction documents and submittals.
• Certification in commissioning a plus (EIT/PE not required).

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Teams in developing the Job Specific Quality Plan and review docs to identify challenges.
• Lead quality pre-installation meetings with trade partners and develop their quality plans.
• Conduct site visits, document findings, and provide corrective directions.
• Perform constructability reviews for future projects to mitigate risks.
• Develop and deliver education opportunities to keep current with trends in construction quality.
