Pepper Construction Group is seeking a sharp MEP Quality Engineer to support multiple projects in Ohio. The role focuses on ensuring quality across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, with a hands-on approach on busy job sites.

Responsibilities include leading quality plans, pre-installation meetings with trade partners, site visits, and constructability reviews. Travel throughout Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky is required, with several conferences annually to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Construction Management, MEP Design, Construction Technology, or Construction Testing.
• Certifications: Commissioning certifications are a plus. EIT or PE are not required but are helpful.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong curiosity for how systems operate; able to explain concepts clearly.
• Travel: able to travel throughout Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky; overnight travel 4-5 times per year.

Responsabilités

• Lead Project Teams in developing the Job Specific Quality Plan and review documents.
• Lead project Quality pre-installation meetings with Trade Partners.
• Conduct quality site visits and write reports with directions for improvement.
• Assist in preconstruction by conducting constructability reviews of future jobs.
• Develop focused expertise in MEP, BAS, TAB, and Commissioning.
