Job summary

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with ability to review and mark up MEP plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project timelines from concept through construction, ensuring scope alignment with client requirements, budgets, and schedules.
  • Review and coordinate MEP drawings, lead design reviews and facilitate communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Review submittals and RFIs; track project costs and support value engineering efforts.
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure compliant project documentation and codes/standards adherence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, coordinated plans using Revit and AutoCAD.

Role Description

The MEP Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This role oversees MEP project planning, coordination, and execution from concept through construction, ensuring designs align with client requirements, budgets, and schedules. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines, reviewing and coordinating MEP drawings, leading design reviews, and communicating with clients, contractors, and internal engineering teams. The MEP Project Manager will review submittals, track project costs, support value engineering efforts, and address field issues in collaboration with stakeholders. The role also includes maintaining project documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards, and mentoring junior team members as needed.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and coordination skills, with experience in plumbing systems and building services.
  • Candidates should possess solid project management and budgeting skills, including scheduling, cost control, and resource planning.
  • Candidates should possess experience handling submittals, RFIs, and construction administration documentation.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with the ability to review and mark up MEP plans effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and permitting processes in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Previous experience as a MEP Project Manager or similar role in consulting engineering or construction is highly beneficial.
