Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Estimator to support planning and procurement activities on construction projects in the United States. The role emphasizes estimating self-performed MEP work, developing clear scopes of work, and evaluating subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive bids and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.

Responsibilities

Studies specifications to assist planning procedures for construction.
Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.
Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.
