Job summary

Kelso Industries seeks a Project Engineer – Mechanical Construction (MEP) to support planning and delivery from preconstruction through commissioning. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, BIM/VDC teams, and vendors, owning scopes, documentation, and procurement tasks to drive project success.

The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle, growth toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager, and a path within a fast-growing KSW team in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/ME/AE or related field.
• Two to five years of project engineering, field engineering, coordination, or related construction experience preferred.
• Commercial mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, piping, data-center experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned project scopes, deliverables, documentation, and action items.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and scopes to identify discrepancies, risks, and coordination needs.
• Prepare, review, submit, and track RFIs, submittals, change docs, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, BIM/VDC teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and GC.
• Manage the submittal process for assigned scopes, including technical review and tracking.
