Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a talented MEP Project Engineer II to join our team in Eagle Mountain, Utah. You will work on a high-impact project focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, collaborating with a top-tier team to meet milestones while upholding quality and safety.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of experience, with strong CAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP or related field.
• Ability to read mechanical and plumbing plans and interpret specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management and stakeholders to track project timeline and budget.
• Manage change orders and expedite material as needed; analyze impact of changes.
• Prepare submittal packages and project documentation.
• Procure equipment and services and assist in selecting subcontractors.
• Resolve complex questions and provide guidance on design issues.
