Job summary

American Bridge Holding Company seeks an experienced MEP Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) on the East River RFK Bridge rehabilitation project in New York, NY. You will ensure safety, adherence to schedule and budget while guiding MEP installations.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read drawings, manage budgets, and communicate with owners and engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in MEP
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of construction means, methods and cost control
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate subcontractors for MEP systems
• Ensure safety, schedule adherence and budget compliance
• Coordinate with owners and engineers on field issues
• Oversee testing, commissioning, turnover and training of MEP systems
