A construction management and engineering firm is seeking a Resident Engineer for bridge rehabilitation in New York City. The ideal candidate will manage daily operations, oversee compliance with NYCDOT standards, and coordinate with contractors. Candidates should have a BS/MS in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, and at least 5 years of construction experience. Strong communication and management skills are essential. Qualifications

• 5 - 15 years of construction experience, with at least 3 – 5+ years as a Resident Engineer.
• Experience managing projects in densely populated urban areas.
• Experience preparing thorough change order request packages.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and staff activities for bridge rehabilitation work.
• Oversee staff's management of project documents and records.
• Prepare and submit detailed Resident Engineer reports and monthly progress reports.

Education

BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field

Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in New York State
