Job summary

Marquee Asset Management, LLC is seeking an hands-on MEP Assistant Project Manager in Scottsdale, AZ. The role links field supervision with office planning to coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems across active projects.

You will document commitments, manage RFIs and submittals, and track procurement, installations, testing, and turnover readiness, while coordinating with owners, design consultants, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑protection, life‑safety, low‑voltage, controls, and elevator drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, emergency power, lighting controls, fire alarm, fire sprinkler, building controls, low‑voltage systems, elevators, and utility coordination.
• Ability to understand system interfaces, including power, controls, monitoring, alarms, shutdowns, equipment clearances, access, and testing requirements.
• General familiarity with construction inspections, testing, commissioning, code compliance, and authority‑having‑jurisdiction requirements.
• Strong organization, documentation, written communication, problem‑solving, and follow‑through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, clearly communicate risks, and drive open items to closure.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, Autodesk Build, and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP scopes across one or more active projects to keep work coordinated and on schedule.
• Review coordination drawings; identify conflicts with structure, architecture, ceilings, and access requirements.
• Prepare, submit, and track RFIs, submittals, resubmittals, and design clarifications.
• Maintain procurement logs, purchase orders, material releases, and equipment delivery schedules.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, allowances, and cost tracking; help prepare change orders.
• Develop and maintain MEP milestone, procurement, installation, inspection, startup, and commissioning trackers.
