Job summary

AC Corporation, based in Greensboro, North Carolina, seeks a President to lead and scale a complex commercial and industrial MEP operation, overseeing construction, project execution, estimating, procurement, fabrication, field operations, safety, and customer relationships with full P&L accountability.

The ideal candidate brings proven executive leadership, deep MEP expertise, and a track record of profitability and growth, plus the ability to develop leaders, strengthen client relationships,

Qualifications

• Executive or senior operational leadership experience in commercial/industrial MEP contracting.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical, fabrication and building systems operations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop leaders.
• Track record of profitability, operational excellence and growth.
• Experience with P&L accountability and large-scale project oversight.
• Ability to navigate growth, change, and organizational transition.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Design-build experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full operational leadership for a large-scale commercial and industrial MEP business.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee project management, estimating, field execution, fabrication, purchasing, safety, and ops support.
• Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives across construction and service operations.
• Provide financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, and cost controls.
• Manage backlog and conduct monthly operational reviews.
• Build a high-performance, accountability-driven culture and recruit top talent.
• Strengthen relationships with owners, general contractors, industrial clients, vendors and partners.
• Drive improvements in pricing strategy, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Support and reinforce a world-class safety culture across all sites.
