Job summary

Atlas Connections is seeking a highly technical MEP Coordinator to support a major data center construction project in Barstow, Texas. The role emphasizes hands-on coordination of electrical and mechanical systems on-site and requires strong field judgment to drive execution in the field.

The ideal candidate will have a supervisory or lead role background in industrial construction, oil & gas, or power generation, with the ability to interpret complex drawings and coordinate multiple trades

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, or multidisciplinary industrial construction.
• Experience in supervisory or field leadership roles.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial facilities, or power generation is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, electrical one-lines, riser diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of NEC and construction safety standards.
• Familiarity with construction management and coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coordination of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems across assigned construction areas.
• Serve as technical point of contact between engineering teams, subcontractors, field supervision, and project leadership.
• Identify and resolve system conflicts, installation challenges, and constructibility issues.
• Review engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Lead trade coordination meetings and drive technical issues through resolution.
• Monitor field installations for compliance with designs, specifications, and project requirements.
