Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is hiring an MEP Assistant Superintendent to support field operations, inspections, and commissioning for commercial projects. This role involves assisting the MEP Superintendent with documentation, vendor coordination, and startup activities.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in commercial construction, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently while leading teammates as needed. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4-year degree strongly preferred in construction/engineering or business.
• 2-5 years' experience in commercial construction, including exposure to a general contractor.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to lead a team and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support MEP Superintendent with field inspections and progress updates.
• Assist in document control, vendor coordination, and equipment startup/commissioning.
• Participate in project meetings and record minutes; support overall project logistics.
• Coordinate and track critical path activities and equipment deliveries.
