Job summary

Hoar Construction seeks an MEP Field Coordinator to monitor construction, coordinate owners, field teams, design and contractors. You will oversee installation of systems, equipment, and control networks, ensuring schedule adherence and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong communication with owners and project teams, hands-on field oversight, and travel up to 30% to support project execution and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience with on site management in new construction and large renovation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study and understand drawings and specs, review and understand existing system configurations, develop work schedule for installation.
• Oversee field activities and QA of work, coordinate multiple contractors on site.
• Maintain and manage project documentation and closeout items.
• Review contractor pay apps and material invoices for fixed items vs. expendables.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to establish construction milestones and preconstruction schedules.
