Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an MEP Field Coordinator to join our Building Technology team in Shippingport, PA. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and special systems coordination on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities include overseeing MEP trade partners, developing schedules, reviewing QA/QC programs, and assisting with commissioning activities to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems.
• Ability to understand workforce requirements, monitor project progress, and troubleshoot field engineering problems.
• Experience managing construction of complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, airports, or other special-use facilities.

• Provide oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in developing and tracking schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program.
• Maintain and review punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and support start-up and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out to ensure successful delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools and QA/QC processes.
