What We're Looking For: We have an immediate need for an experienced Construction Mechanical or Electrical Estimator with a focus on large-scale commercial projects in key sectors including Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Education, Corporate, Institutional, and Light Industrial.
Location: This role could be in Fishers, Fort Wayne, Indiana, or Louisville, Kentucky. This is not a remote position.
Ideal Candidates: Will have 5+ years' experience in the estimating and preconstruction of large-scale commercial projects. Minimum 5+ years of work experience in large-scale vertical commercial construction estimating. Conceptual estimating experience. BA/BS/AS or other accredited degree may substitute for up to 4 years of experience. Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in various estimating software, including those used for digital quantity take-off, pricing, and bid invitation. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel. Experience in pricing labor for concrete, carpentry, casework, doors, demo, and specialties. Experience with preconstruction estimating. Experience with scheduling software.
