Job summary

EXP, based in Chicago, seeks an MEP Engineering Manager to lead the Central Buildings Group. The role requires directing a multi-office team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineers, with a client-centered approach and strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a right-sized team of MEP engineers to support projects across multiple markets.
• Assign MEP resources to projects with respect to scope, schedule and budget requirements.
• Lead annual strategic planning for the MEP team as part of Building Group leadership.
• Coordinate resource management for MEP engineers across EXP sectors.
• Recruit, interview and hire MEP staff.
• Ensure the MEP team meets project budgets and schedules and maintains financial performance.
• Provide technical leadership and maintain EXP quality standards.
• Oversee project management for projects of varying size and complexity.
