Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Monroe, LA is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to manage mechanical and electrical systems on a major advanced technology project. You will lead project teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure that schedules, budgets, and quality requirements are met on site.

Travel is 100% for this opportunity. A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least four years of relevant experience is required, along with strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of relevant mechanical and electrical systems experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MEP project team, subcontractors, and owner’s representatives to ensure integrated systems installation.
• Prepare and manage contract item lists and ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
• Participate in schedule updates and provide accurate information for planning.
• Evaluate and manage RFIs and change orders, maintaining budget visibility.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and collaborate with VDC/MEP coordination teams.
