HLZAE, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Project Associate – MEP Engineer to support restoration and building systems projects. You will gain hands-on experience in field inspections, technical analysis, and construction documentation while collaborating with project leaders and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in ME/EE/PE, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and AutoCAD proficiency. NYC-based with hybrid schedule; travel within NYC may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering (or related field).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Support MEP and building restoration projects across all phases under supervision.
• Assist with site inspections, field measurements, and condition assessments (incl. elevated and confined spaces).
• Prepare and update technical documents: drawings, reports, specifications, and field notes.
• Create and modify AutoCAD drawings and sketches.
• Participate in client, contractor, and consultant meetings.
• Track project documentation, photos, and records.
• Help monitor construction progress and identify issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
