Job summary

Futures Consulting LLC in Dallas, TX seeks an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in MEP/building electrical design to join our team. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD in a multidisciplinary A&E environment is required.

The ideal candidate will design electrical systems from concept to construction documents, perform load calculations, and coordinate across disciplines while ensuring NEC compliance and quality project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in an A/E/MEP environment.
• Experience with building electrical systems design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting, and electrical calculations.
• Working knowledge of NEC and building codes.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• EIT preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems from concept through construction documents.
• Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Design power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems.
• Develop electrical plans, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and applicable building codes.
• Participate in project coordination and client meetings.
• Work with senior engineers and designers to deliver quality project documents.
