Job summary

Gutridge Plumbing, Inc. in central Ohio seeks a Mechanical Division Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of MEPF systems on construction projects.

You will lead project managers, coordinators, superintendents, foremen and field staff to ensure on-time, on-budget performance and adherence to safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 8–10 years of experience in MEP engineering or construction, with 3–5 years in a management role.
• PMP or similar certification, LEED accreditation or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the division leadership and project teams, delegating responsibilities and providing training.
• Manage the division budget, monitor costs, and review financial performance with CFO/Controller.
• Drive division performance by coordinating with project managers on progress, profitability, and staffing needs.
• Oversee workforce planning with HR to recruit, retain, and develop staff to meet project demands.
• Ensure quality and safety by enforcing standards, codes, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate projects and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues across divisions and clients.
• Manage risk by identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and processes.
