Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Design Phase Manager to lead design phase activities across concurrent projects. You will oversee estimating, business partner selection, scheduling, design development, quality control and commissioning planning for MEP work.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years construction experience in MEPS, strong leadership and collaboration skills, and ability to travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, initiative and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and participate in opportunities for new projects and acquisitions.
• Oversee design phase management, review MEP options, and support system selection and coordination.
• Coordinate life cycle cost analysis and ensure constructability and logistics for MEP scope.
• Prepare and present MEP estimates; maintain cost data and support budget development.
