Job summary

Ward Personnel seeks an MEP Coordinator for a Dundalk commercial project. The role suits someone with an ex-trades background (electrical/plumbing) or Building Services, and with site chargehand/foreman experience.

Strong QA/QC knowledge, health & safety awareness, and confidence to chair MEP meetings are essential. The coordinator will liaise with design teams and MEP subcontractors, organize and chair weekly coordination meetings, and manage documentation such as drawings, procurement

Qualifications

• Ex-trades background in electrical or plumbing, or Building Services.
• Experience as site chargehand or section foreman.
• Understanding of QA/QC processes and commissioning.
• Awareness of health and safety risks in electrical/mechanical works.
• Ability to chair site MEP meetings and coordinate teams.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with design teams and MEP sub-contractors.
• Ensure information flow for MEP installation per programme.
• Organise and chair weekly MEP coordination meetings.
• Prepare and check documents: drawings, schedules, progress reports, RFIs.
• Attend project team meetings and report variances to PM/Contracts Manager.
• Coordinate utility connections and site inspections to standards.
• Support safety policies and drive a safe work culture.
